Okeydokey, my first time blogging from the iPhone!

It's the vacation, and I'm working my ass off to save money for the Boston trip coming June/July. I wouldn't consider this an awesome job with such screwed up management, but at least it pays well for a 3 month temp job. And resources are readily available for use too. Definitely beats the intensive studies at Wheelock though.

These months I've been absent from this space here, loads have been going on. Pretty smooth sailing, I would say, despite the hospital encounters twice this year. For minor issues like getting a bone stuck in my throat and stepping on a nail. For the first time in my life I got hospitalized for a night, was placed on drips, took lots of weird tests and even underwent an operation. Wow, what an experience. The whole time, there was one person who was there with me- my dearest boy.

We've had lots of events and all happening these months. His birthday celebration- candlelight dinner and massage session, my birthday at the jewel box cable car sky dining, Halloween at Spooktacular Sentosa with Theresa and bf, trip to the zoo, and the many movie dates and late nights out. All these occurring consecutively every weekend. Never had such a whale of a time, especially when it's with my loved one.

Speaking of this boy of mine, I'm glad we're still going strong despite all the shit we have gone through. Have decided that I wouldn't let the two-faced ex girlfriend of his get in our way, even though she is the perfect example of a bitch. This is not a biased opinion of mine just because she is his past, but because of her proficiency at turning tables around and pointing her finger without realizing that with a finger pointing at others, she has four other fingers darting back at herself.

I cannot quite comprehend why some people engage in such immature behaviors just to save themselves some face. Too disappointing, and equally ridiculous to speak of. Aye, enough of these mood dampening nonsense. In fact, not even worth the penny of thoughts. On to other stuff!

The things this boy have done for me, I can clearly see it. All I'm asking for is for us to be happy, without a worry in the world. Sure, there will be more obstacles in our way in the future, but I want to cherish this relationship with all my heart. All we need is that piece of faith in ourselves that we can do this.

Or maybe I was over sensitive?

It all boils down to the same issue..

I may have changed; because once bitten, twice shy.

Just in this case, I was bitten countless times.

Those hurtful words and quarrels, I can't get them off my mind.

The same problems, but nothing seemed to be solved.

Can I pull through?

Thoughts of giving up kept ringing in my mind.

But I know I don't want to.

I'm just... really tired..

I'm doing all these, cause I care, I treasure, I cherish.

Godddd, it's been so long I don't even know where to start.

First and foremost, I've officially ended my tertiary education!

3 years, and it felt so surreal.

But anyway, I'll still be in NgeeAnn for the next 2 years, for the degree program.

Still can't decide if it was the right choice to apply for Wheelock.

Cause it means intensive mugging for the next 2 years. :/

The only thing I'd miss about poly is the clique.

Don't know what I would do without them.

I can't imagine projects without them. Ahhhhh.

We (finally) had a proper dinner together, all 5 of us. (:

At Cedele, food was average, but company was awesome.

Aye, moving on.

How could I miss out my dearest girls?

We had Formosa, then island creamery, and ended the day with steamboat at Eli's place!

Friends come and go, but we all know that those who are constantly in our lives are what we call true friends. We do not need to contact each other everyday, but we know that they are the ones that will be there for us, no matter what.

From the last time I updated, so much has happened!

Spending the night out on Christmas and New Year, the all-time favourite Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, falling sick countless times, catching up with N, meeting D after >1 year (but idk what happened again), Crystal Jade xlb buffet with KT, splashing fun at Wild Wild Wet with Sis and family, lots of family problems, lots of relationship problems, all the splurging on good food, and the list goes on!

And work! Oh yes, I've started work.

Retail job, Mandarin Gallery.

Mission face-rotting starts because I'm required to slap on thick Geisha-like make-up to work.

Hates doing cashiering, especially when I'm handling 3 digit sums.

Definitely not enjoying it, but I can only suck thumb cause I need the $$$.

It's only been 4 days, and I'm dreading it maxxxxxxxx.

This time, let's see how long I can hold this job.

It's my last year, and last semester already.
And I really don't want to go back to school to face all the endless assignments again.
Afterall, it's been like whaaaat? Almost half a year since we went back to school!
Previously it was attachment, then followed by holidays.
As much as it sounds cliche, but it's amazing how time flies.

Am definitely gonna miss my little ones at the childcare centre.
The next time I'll see them is at their annual graduation concert. (:

Saturday was awesome, I was a happy girl. ((((((:

We had lunch first, then went buying my last birthday present.
Then headed for the movie Paranormal Activity 2.

Went for pool and shopping after that, and dinner was at Marche. (:
We gobbled everything up so fast that I forgot to take pictures.

Left the shopping bags and all at home, then headed downstairs again.

Still having attachment everyday.
I'm pretty much enjoying it, except that it's really really tiring.

Sorry for the lack of updates.
Been busy as a bee due to attachment!
It's fun, minus the workload and ______.
Am still trying to adapt to the daily 9am-5.30pm schedule.
It doesn't help when I lack sleep!
I only sleep max 5-6 hours per day, which is killing me.

I'm feeling super ______ now, I don't know how to describe.

Clique@last DAC tutorial

Oh yes it's finally June!
Which means, I got past May 'safe and sound',

On one fine Sunday in June, the sec school clique met up at last, after 2 good years!
We had awesome dinner together at Formosa, our favourite makan place back then in school.
Definitely a good catching up session with them. (':

Today while on the cab to school, the driver was an interesting man.
He striked a conversation by saying that I should 'open my eyes wide' when looking for a partner.
Can you imagine me going o.O?
Hahaha yes.
He went on to talk about how a man should be gentlemanly towards a lady.
And that a man should always give in to his wife at all times.
I don't know to what extent is this true, but this is what he said:
"If my wife tries to pick a quarrel with me, I won't say anything but 'I love you'. If I know she's having mood swings due to period/menopause, I'll let her hit/scold me. Then I'll tell her, 'Tomorrow will be better'."
He added on that all men should let their wives safe-keep their money.
Because 男人一有钱会做怪.
It means that when guys have the money, they get up to no good. (HAHA)
He even said that men should be asked to get pregnant and give birth!
I couldn't remember what else he said, but he rattled on and on throughout the journey.
It's amazing how much he understands women.

I have problems with trust, since young.
Growing up in a not so close knitted family, I never learned to trust any of my family members, needless to say friends or anyone else.
And each time I attempt to trust someone, I get myself hurt and betrayed in the end.
It happened not once or twice, but countless times.
Eventually I clammed up, and stopped telling anyone anything.
I still have some friends whom I can tell my problems to, but I try not to bother them all the time because after all, they have their own problems to work out, right?
No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to place 100% trust in anyone.
However much I want to learn to trust again, I can't bring myself to do it.

Its the end of first week in school as a year 3!
Why does it strangely feel like it was just a few months ago when we were still freshies?
So far so good, with just 12 hours of classes per week.
The best thing is that we don't need to bring laptops every-single-day!
If excluding project meeting days, of course.
Speaking of projects, there are some which are due in Week 4.
Which means, you'll probably be seeing more 'complains of stress' posts when project mania begins.
And then after all the intensive work, attachment starts in Week 8.

So worn out

I promised to blog about this day.
We called it the 'surprise', which was supposed to take place quite a few months ago.
But due to some unforeseen circumstances (e.g huge quarrels), it was delayed.
Although it wasn't much of a surprise, but I still appreciate okay, really.

He bought me Yami Yogurt first, then we had light lunch/dinner at Superdog.
Our first time dining at Superdog- something to strike off from our 'things to eat' list.
Caught the movie "How to train your dragon", then for some shopping,
since we had some time to spare before heading to the destination.
(He made reservations at the restaurant at 8p.m)
I was a little hesitant about the movie but it turned out better than I expected.

We then made our way to Timbre@old school.
Climbed what seemed like a never-ending flight of stairs before we finally arrived at the restaurant, and by then, perspiring like pigs.

Didn't order much food cause the pizza and buffalo wings were more than enough to fill our tummies!
Loved everything there- The ambience, food and cocktail.
Obviously Adam was the one who finished up my drink because my blood circulation's too good for my own sake. Hee. (He's calls me noob and is afraid I might get drunk)

Ahhhh, looking at the food makes me salivate. :(

Well, we didn't take a photo together because it was too dark and the flash would attract a lot of attention from others.

After dinner, we went for a short pool session (1/2hour).
And since it was rather late already, we decided to cab home to Pioneer.
I dropped my phone in the cab (although Adam said he checked the seats before we left).
Panicked, spammed my phone and called Comfort, and they helped me to locate the driver!
Thankfully the passengers were not greedy enough to keep it.
So Mr Tien, the cabby, told us to meet him at Bishan in half an hour's time.
Gosh, we were at Pioneer for goodness sake and it's midnight!
And Adam, being awfully nice, decided he would drop me at Teban in a cab before travelling to Bishan to collect my phone for me.
I heard the cab fare amounted to more than 40bucks, he even got yelled at by the cabby for being late.

I've been seeing things that I know I shouldn't have seen..
Nope, not in a creepy way.

I looked through some of the things that I intentionally/unintentionally kept from the past. It made of think of all the good and bad memories. I was reminded of things that I tried to tuck deep down in my heart all these while, and those happy ones that I've accidentally forgotten. It felt like a sudden gush of thoughts and feelings, so overwhelming that I couldn't sort anything out. I like to look back at those wonderful moments of hearing, feeling and witnessing feelings of happiness. But damn... I also hate quarrels, doubts, uncertainties and feelings of insecurity.

Quick update about what I've been up to,
Fish&Co for dinner and Swensen's topless 5 ice cream for desserts at IMM last Thursday with Adaamzz, visited zoo in the day followed by Night Safari with Brandvan baby, Calorie, Sis and husband on Wednesday. Had a great time, and was very exhausted at the end of the day from all the walking and taking care of the kids. More CNY visitings at Uncle's and Siewhong's the past week. Today, satisfy cravings for mutton chop, exploring Golden Mile, VivoCity, Henderson Wave, Ayer Rajah food centre (opp TSS).

Been having a bad, bad cough these days.
People at work were so sweet,
kept asking if i'm alright, asking me to go to a doctor, take medicine, drink water and all. Wendy even bought strepsils and woods lozenges for me.
Rizal said to me, "Eh, not feeling well ah? Told you don't smoke so much already!" (?!?!)
He gave me 3 pairs of Levis' jeans for free cause those are extras.
Feels good to have such fun-loving colleagues. (:

Sales was almost 4k today(highest record). Madness.

New year celebration was good. (:
Crazy and enjoyable.

So, in summary from 31st December to 1st January 2010,
I met Theresa for a light dinner.
She passed me presents from Manchester. (Thanks dear!)
She headed to meet her friends.
Whereas we headed to The Float at Marina Bay.
Tickets costed us $21 each (originally 30$).
The whole event, in my opinion, was not quite worth the money.
Watched stunning and pretty fireworks.
Gave 10 bucks and told the person "Give me the best drink you have."
(Die.)
Met Theresa again.

Okay, up till here, I'm really not sure what we did for the night.
All I remembered was:
We sent her off (halfway).
Watched cockroaches feasting on a puddle of vomit.
We walked a lot.
Saw many drunk/not drunk people sleeping everywhere on the streets.
From Marina to Clarke Quay, and then back.
Of course, lots of side tracking to other places in between.
Feet was hurting like mad.
Threw up (x2).
Had supper at Lau Pa Sat (Satays tasted terrible).
Stoned at Marina (Our usual hideout) while waiting for the first train service.
MacDonald's breakfastttttt!
Phone's battery went flat, everyone at home was worried sick.
And then K.Oed the moment I got home at 8a.m.

Just some updates since I've nothing better to do now.

First off, the outing with clique- Theresa, Siewhong and Aarti.
Words can never tell how much I missed those times with them in Secondary School!
This time it was a surprise birthday celebration for both T and SH.
The planning was mad confusing I tell you.
But all went well, I had an awesome time with them.
We can just sit and talk the whole day away!

Stalker encounter
Oh oh oh oh oh, you know, I was stalked home by a middle-aged chinese man last week! I was at Pandan reservoir alone (stupid I know), when he stood beside me doing absolutely nothing for a long time. So I thought something wasn't right, and got up to walk home. He followed me all the way home!! Thank god I was fast enough to get into the house and lock the door before he reached. From then on, I became so paranoid that I kept looking around me as I walk home. o.O

I'm supposed to submit 3 math lesson plans to the mentor by tomorrow but till now I don't even have the slightest clue about the centre's theme for the month of January.
Emailed my mentor, but she hasn't replied.
Which means I cannot get started on it.
Somebody kill me. :S

It's been quite some time since I posted a blog post about my day's activity and happenings, which I used to do so often.
So I'm gonna tell you how I spent my day!
There's nothing significant about this day, but given the fact that today is technically the last day of school, I think it's something worth talking about.
All assignments have been submitted, but that also meant that there are more coming up.
Piles of them that can stack up to the height of Bukit Timah hill.
Aye exaggerated.
But still, I'm proud of myself for getting half way through this shit.
That aside, I'm gonna make up my loss of sleep now that term break is here.

TGIF!
Never looked forward to Fridays because lessons stretch from 9a.m to 6p.m.
But today's different because we have a 4 hours long break in between, before the next tutorial.
Contemplated going home instead of wasting 4 hours of my life waiting.
And boy was I really tempted to skip class.
But nope! I didn't! (Pats myself on my back)
Michelle and I headed to Holland Village for our much craved Laksa.
Then we took 2 buses down to Adam Road for Awfully Chocolate cakes and ice cream.
We got them for f-r-e-e because Chelle's friend(or rather aquaintance) works there.
Sinfully fattening, but nice. (:
After that, we returned to school, with 1 more hour left before class.
The up-slopes in NP and overhead bridges everywhere almost killed us.
Overhead bridges should have escalators!
And the weather was scorching hot, we thought sun-tanning in the middle of the road would probably be able to roast us.
I was exhausted by the time we reached back!
But thank god I didn't have to squeeze like packed sardines in the bus and get stucked in the peak-hour traffic jam.
So here I am, and am going to get some sleep right now.
And I shall see you guys again soon!

And to top it all off, my laptop went bonkers!
So I had no other choice but to reformat it.
Which wasted so much of my time, which I could have used it to do something more constructive.

Not to mention all the other complicated stuff going on.
And the fact that I'm so very broke.
Why is everyone/everything so screweddddd!

But looking on the optimistic side,
in 11 days time, I'll be free (like a bird) from all these shit.

Today is Friday the 13th!
And nope, I don't quite believe in this kinda things (Bad stuff happening).
Cause my Friday went well!
Like a typical Friday actually.

Last Saturday we helped out at the childcare centre's graduation ceremony.
The children put up an awesome performance. :D

The whole load of junk food and insufficient sleep these days is probably the reason to why I keep falling sick.
It's the 4th time I fell sick in 3 months.

Yesterday for PEC, we went for Dialogue in the dark.

"The concept is simple: visitors are lead by blind guides in small groups through specially constructed darkened rooms, in which scents, sounds, wind, temperatures and textures convey the characteristics of daily environments, for example a park, a city, a market or a cafe."

And it was an unforgettable experience.
I can finally understand how a person with visual impairment lead his/her daily life.
And our blind guide, I was impressed with him.
During the 'tour', I can't help but to feel helpless and anxious because I couldn't see a thing, not even my own hands.
Dialogue in the dark is now in NP!
All of you should really visit and have a feel of how it's like.

Aye, so lectures+tutorials have been really dreary.
Except for some, where we had interesting activities like making fruit salad/butter.
Yes, you can make your own butter using whipping cream.
And surprisingly, IT applications 2 was interesting.
We learn how to make a movie, sound editing, photoshop etc.

but it was a rather last minute decision to meet up with her.

Cousin's wedding day

Got dragged out of bed by 7.30a.m, headed to uncle's place.
Spent almost 5 hours there, the adults going through some traditional ceremony.
Was sleepy ttm cause I slept at 4a.m the night before.

When I got home, the first thing I did was to sleeeeeep.
I know I know, such a lazy pig.
Woke up and prepared for the wedding dinner in the evening.

Then I realised I ever went there for buffet lunch/dinner a couple of years ago with the 2E4 classmates.

Blogger is still not functioning well!!!
Or is it just my laptop?

Last Friday had a BBQ session with the family at cousin's place.
It was enjoyable with all the free-flow of deliciously yummy food.
(Which I ate a lotttt)
But it definitely comes with a price to pay.
Because I fell sick the next dayzxzxzxz.
The fever, flu, cough and sore throat lasted for a few days.
And then followed by my whole body breaking out in rashes.
It was so bad and so disgusting that I refused to go out.
But I've recovered and am all right now!

Visited the doctor thrice in less than a month, which is terrible given the fact that normally, I barely see a doctor once in a year.
The past 1 week I was back at my own place, without internet connection.
Which simply meant I didn't use the laptop at all for 1 whole week!
That's pretty amazing and quite impossible, you know.
But it made me feel disconnected from everythingggg.
Only goes to show how important technology is to us.

Many things going on- some significant, some not so.
Lots of ups and downs, really have no idea how I should react.
Coping and dealing with everything is what I really need to learn.

And what now?
Major exams starting Friday, which I have not started even on the notes.
And it's certainly nothing new.

HELLOOOOOOOOOOO!
It's been pretty hectic these weeks, which explains why it is so stagnant here.
Like all the Diner Dash-like games, it was project mania for me.
Today was glued in front of this laptop the entire day to complete my term paper.
So, one down!
Remains are 1 presentation, 1 test and 2 exams.
Vacation break is here.
Can't wait can't wait can't wait!!!!!

Yes, it's already half a month since the last update.
Kinda lost at what to type right now.
My brain juice is squeezed dry just for the essay.

I can remember vaguely the time I told Aarti quack I wanted the wisdom tooth to grow.
And it's really growingggggg.
Definitely no fun because it hurts bloody a lot.
Went to a dentist and thank god it does not need to be extracted.
For now.
Got antibiotics and a mouth rinse.
Terrible because I hate downing pills and tablets.

Past 2 weeks include spending time with my boy, Brandvan.
Who is adorable to the maxxxxx.
The way he imitates people chatting on the phone.
Also had a picnic with the family at Sentosa one of those days.
Then there is the class party, where Philip Koh(our lecturer) ordered pizzas and some of us brought snacks, drinks and what nots.
And some humongous crabby pincers from the dear parents' birthday dinner.
Meeting Aarti babe for dinner cause she was bored(I think).
Yesterday was out hunting for Michelley's birthday present.
And satisfying some of our random cravings.
I want peanut snow iceeeeeee.

24 hours a day sometimes seems way too short!
Take for example today, we had a test till 7.30p.m.
Finally got home at 8.30p.m, with just enough time to shower, eat, prepare for field practicum tomorrow, then hit the sacks, then get my ass out of the bed by 6.30a.m the next morning.
That's spending less than 12 hours at home!

I've been rather tied up with school ever since term break ended.
Dont know what I'm busy with, but whatever.
All I know is that work is piling up and I should stop procrastinating.
Even so, there is so much for me to catch up on.
Haven't been paying much attention during tutorials.
Financial management is definitely a gone case.

Past few days were spent in GentingHighlands, an impromptu trip with fellow cousins.
We got there at 4plus in the morning, and slept at the lobby while waiting for check-in.

In fact, it was J and R who returned with many many shopping bags.
And then we had nothing else to do, so we headed back to the hotel room.

I'M BACK!

Out of the various reasons why I haven't been updating, one of them is because I've been rather tied down by assignments.
Okay yes, partly because I was lazy too.
Recently, it seems like no amount of sleep is enough for me.
Maybe it's just my method to avoid thinking about all the mad crazys.
The month of May is probably..... jinxed. (At least for me)

Coming week will be E-learning week.
Which also means no school!
There'll be 2 tests on Tuesday though, a grammar test and financial management.

Last week, I planned and implemented my first lesson plan.
It's an art activity, and it went quite smoothly.

While the kids are doing their art piece

Every MAYC tutorial, we play games!
This was when we were learning about patterning.

It was Griselda's birthday a few days ago.
And it's been a long time since I last took a picture of her right?
She's now 2 years old and is picking up language real fast.
Once, I accidentally blurted "Woah fuck man!" in front of her.
And you guessed it right, she went around saying the same thing to everyone.

Classes these days have been really really boring.

Saturday was JingWen's first month celebration.
Later on at night it was crazyyyyy.
Sis, bro-in-law and I were playing with cards and the loser had to drink alcohol.

It's been a pretty rough week, but all is fine now.
I hope.
Only 3 days of school this week, but they mostly starts 9a.m, and ends 6p.m.
We have an assignment due Week 4, which is less than 2 weeks from now.
And the weekly 4-hour FieldPrac attachment starts this coming Wednesday!
I can already feel the stress kicking in.
During MAYC tutorial, we played with childhood toys!
As simple as these toys are, we really had lots of fun and were laughing our asses off.

It's yet again one of those days whereby I feel so weary, so tired..
Like running an endless marathon, I just keep running and running without knowing where I'm heading towards.
The people alongside all seemed to know where they are going.
They have an aim, and they are not giving up.
Here I am, my stamina is not keeping up, and overwhelmed with fatigue.
Am dying of mental exhaustion...

We had our first Financial Managment class this morning.
It lasted three damned hours, and I almost died.
From this, the conclusion drawn is that I'm not cut-out to be a business student.
And that I will suffer miserably if I were to be in a business course.

I'm gonna be a Year 2 starting tomorrow!
No more excuses of "cannot find the place" when we're late.
I honestly don't know how Year 2 is going to be like..

Last vacation, I remember feeling excited over the fact that school is going to start.

Didn't wear heels, thankfully, because we walked a lot!
Then I finally gave in to the temptation of taking a cab home.
I always end up cabbing home when I'm in town areaaaaa.

I'm gonna try to sleep early tonight.
But it seems like mission impossible.

Some of you may know that I'm against smoking.
I cannot think of any reasons why people smoke.
I really do not understand.
Firstly, it is bad for health.
Secondly, the smell is suffocating. (Intolerable for me)
Thirdly, it stains your teeth yellow, bad breath.
Fourthly, it's so expensive.
And lastly, the people around you inhale the smoke as well.

Cabbed home at 4a.m.
Felt tired.
Stayed at home while Uncle came over to paint the ceilings and walls on my off day.

Hello!
Something must be wrong with me.
I've been quick tempered and touchy nowadays
And am always snapping at basically everyone.
So you know what better to do than to irritate me.

It was Calorie's first month celebration on Sunday.
Her name is Faith, but I am going to call her Calorie.

Had a little argument at home before heading over to Sis' place.
Which leads me to think that one day, I want to give all the stupid family events a miss just like everyone else. I hate having to explain repeatedly to relatives when they ask questions like "Where is your mum/dad/sis?" and "Why are they not here?" and "When are they coming?".
Yes, I'm not trying anymore...

Okay, unpleasant things aside, let's talk about something else.

We left Sis' place at evening time, and went to town.
Shopped for a bit, before having dinner/supper at Swensens.
After much hesitation, we decided to settle at PartyWorld KTV.
It was my first visit there!

Shared a bottle of absolute vodka among us, which costed quite a bomb.
It was freeeeeeezing cold in the room.
So sis told me drinking alcohol can warm me up.

But I guess it kinda made me feel sleepy.
We sang till 2a.m, before leaving the place and cabbing home.

I met up with this girl of mine in the afternoon!
It's been nearly 2 months we went out together.

I missed her so muchhh. And Aarti, Eliza, Theresa, Pamela, Audrey tooooo. ):
We ate at Subway, then went to Jurong Point for Siewhong's haircut.
After which we caught up with each other before heading home.
Coincidentally met Nazri on the bus!

A relatively short day out but I pretty much enjoyed it. (:
First it was lunch at Pastamania, and solving some coin tricks.
Then it was the movie Marley and Me. (Like finally)
Was alright, and it managed to make me tear a little.
A little only okay! I heard the ruffling of tissue packets and lots of sniffings.
Someone was so mean uh, keep laughing at those who cried.

No pictures for today because I'm using the desktop!
Cousin took it to clear the stuff inside since it's becoming laggy.
I'm not quite used to using the desktop...
Never knew it could be so tiring to sit here.

Am not working already.

So, it has been both physically and mentally draining for the past week.
I'm really worn out, having to juggle between work and some very personal matters.
As much as I wished I could, there is no way I can talk to anyone about everything since they are problems concerning either myself or my family.
I'm exhausted.

Just when I thought things were going fine, they are not...
Even my body has to break down on me at this point of time.
But after a couple of panadols, I'm feeling fine. No worries.
The problem lies with you, me and us.
The fault does not lie entirely on you, we have a part to play in this as well.
Why must we be put through all these all over again?
Why must I be old enough to understand and be able to settle the problem?
Just because the rest of them are busy. Am I not?
Maybe I should be a little more understanding about their situation...

I know things will be fine soon.
This setback, we will overcome.

So I'll be working at the usual place, starting tomorrow.
And yes, I'm glad.
At least it takes my mind off some matters.
I don't like the way things are now.
Questions after questions I've asked myself, yet no conclusions are derived.
I'm frustrated at my inability to make decisions.
Even when this only concerns me, and only myself.
All these while I've tried to understand and accept.
Then again, there's always a 'but' to pull me back to square one.
I trust my intuition, but what's placed before me usually says otherwise,
leaving me puzzled and perplexed.
I don't want to think about it, I need a break.

Hahaha, was it all a dream? I still wonder, even till now.

Not everyone is in the picture, some left earlier.

Slept for merely half an hour last night, and it wasn't because I was studying.
Tossed and turned, and couldn't sleep at all because.........
Woke up with teeny weeny eyes this morning.
Earlier on, I stared at the exam paper blankly for 5 minutes before continuing.
Was dozing off on the bus to town after the paper.
Had Pastamania for lunch with fellow 1B01s.
Contemplated watching "He's just not that into you" because I was too tired.
I did, in the end.
Played at the arcade while waiting for movie to begin.
Dozed off in the movie theatre, Jodi had to wake me up a few times.
But I understood the story plot.
Had new scandal with Priscilla. :D
Went shopping with Jodi, Cass, Jieling and Latifah.
Bought sandals.
Had dinner at Macs.
Bused to BukitTimah with Cass, then cabbed home.
Was blurry the whole time due to the lack of sleep.
But now that I'm back at home, I'm not sleepy anymore.
Exams are over, it's time to rot at home.
Many things I cannot say here, otherwise I will be killed.

There's going to be a 1B01 class outing tomorrow after the exam.
My primary school mates are having a gathering tomorrow as well.
Everybody in the family had to choose to go GentingHighlands this weekend.. Zzz.
So, I'm stuck at home alone preparing for the exam.
And I have to survive on cup noodles.
How dreadful right...

Well, at least I get to enjoy two days of peace. (:

Had breakfast+lunch+dinner with Jyings a few days ago.
Then met up with Aarti for some catching up session.

Spent some time with my family the past few days.
Dad even prepared lunch for us. And although it was a simple one, I loved it.
It was awesome. (:
You probably wonder why I feel happy at such littlest things.
But you won't understand unless you're in my shoes.
We're still trying, and I know we can do it!

I accompanied Sister to Bedok to get her domestic helper yesterday.
Very soon, Brandvan will have a baby sister!
Today was slightly productive, I wrote 3 chapters worth of notes for the upcoming examination.
And as much as I dread working, I called up my colleague asking to start work soon.
It will be home-staying for the next two weeks I guess.
I shall enjoy rotting away. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Pardon me for the lack of updates here.
Some matters are getting me so baffled, so filled with uncertainty and doubt.
There are quite some things I cannot seem to put into words what I need to say.
Enough of all the typing and backspacing..

It's the endddddd of school term! It's the holidayssssss!
Well, not exactly.
We still have one final examination to go, which is on the 21st of February.
This also marks the end of Year 1 of poly life.
Not quite looking forward to Year 2, knowing that we have 8 modules in one semester.
But it doesn't matter now, enjoy first. :D

Life has been pretty much boring.
Everyday was just school and projects.
Today we took class photos with Ms Chong(STB lecturer).
After class Kaiting and I went to "celebrate" just like how we did last semester!
We went for Starbucks first, then caught Bride Wars.
What a sweet sweet movie. Will I ever find a BFF?
And talked quite a lot with her as well. (:

I knew this would be the outcome.

This weekend was a part two of Chinese new year.
On Saturday, we first dropped by BukitBatok for house visiting.
Then had lunchy and headed to ChoaChuKang to my uncle's place.
Played Blackjack, then eat eat eat.
Left at evening time with Sister, and met Jasperrrrrrrrrr.
Jasper is our cousin(maternal side), we used to play together at Granny's place every weekend.
And it has been years since we really caught up with each other.
Anyway, we caught the movie "Love matters".
Which ain't very good. All it talks about is sex.
But I guess it's the company that matters. (:
We had late dinner after which, then off we went home.

Today was just visiting at my other Uncle's place(Cousin Desmond).
Played Blackjack, then eat eat eat.
Am going to gain so much weight ahhhhhh. ):

We get to go shoppingggg for new clothes,

We get to pamper and prettify ourself with manicure, make up and what nots,

We get to catch up with fellow cousins and relatives which we see only once a year,

We get to eat good food during reunion dinner(Includes abaloneeeee!),

We get to binge on all kinds of chinese new year goodies,

Projects are never endinggggggggg.

Just as soon as we cleared a few, more will come along the way.

I hate to start a blog update this way, but these projects are plain sickening.

Yesterday we celebrated Pengs' 21st belated birthday.

We got him a cake(decorated with love by us) and an yellow Adidas watch!

Then he went home since he's not feeling well.

KT, Jodi and I skipped CreativeArts lecture again. :X

Went home after school to sleep because I didn't have enough sleep the night before.

Sister called me, but apparently in my sleepy blurry state, I shouted at her for no reason.

This teaches you not to call me while I'm asleep because I won't know what I'm talking about. :D

Field Practicum today was boringggg other than the part we showered for the children.

Went on a shopping date with Jyings and Twinkle on Tuesday after me FieldPracticum.
I remember bumping into quite a few people, but I can't remember who. Hm.....

We had a class excursion to the National Museum on Wednesday!

Since we had some time for lunch, the clique went for HollandVillage laksaaaaa.
And we wanted BaconSticks but it was sold out. ):
Thinking about it makes me salivate. Haha.
Touring the museum was alright, not too interesting yet not very boring.
And it ended 1 hour earlier!

Decided to meet up Sister for some shopping, and spent quite some money.

Skipped CDTP tutorial on Thursday

since we figured that it is pointless to travel to school just for a less than 2 hour tutorial.

Instead, I met Sister and Brandvan.

Yes, I know that I've been hanging out with her very often.

And as mentioned in my previous post, yesterday(Friday) was a busy day.

Busy with school work. What else?

Last night was one of the most horrible night in such a long long time.

I didn't even know why I said/did/reacted that way.

Shall not elaborate on it, because everything's okay now.

Went to bed only at nearing 5a.m.

Met Jodi this afternoon to buy materials for CreativeArts project at IMM.

We had a lot of fun shopping!

Lunched, and made our way to my home.

Here, she helped me with my Language Arts individual project. Thanks dear!

And we started a little on CAYC before she headed home at 11p.m.

Will be getting PengSwee's birthday present with KaiTing tomorrow(Sunday).

After a week of rushing to meet project deadlines, I finally had some time to update!

But no, all these are not going to end just yet.

School started today after a month of term break.

And it's just like any other school day.

Met up with SiewHong recently for study sessions at the library, just like how we did during our O level days! She tackled her holiday homework, while I did my projects.

I have so much to do, I can dieeeeee. ):

- ChildDevt project, do up the two observations and summary

- GlobalIssues, concept map and lesson plan on topic chosen

- CreativeArts, 1500-2000 word essay on I don't know what

- E-learning assignments for each and every module

All these are to be done BEFORE school reopens.

When school reopens,

- LanguageArts Class test on the first day of school
- ChildDevt group project on attention

- FieldPracticum, social-emotional domains

And the list goes on...

Gahhhhhhhhhh, its 4.47p.m already and I have not eaten anything at all.

So as usual, Weiqian is trying to complete all her assignments at the very last minute.

Although it seems impossible, I will still tryyyyyy.

And what did I do today?

I went for make-up attachment in the morning, then came home and slept till now.

What a great job!

It's the first day of 2009!
It's the start of something new.

And no, there will not be any new year resolutions.
Because I know well enough that I will never stick to it. (:

New year's eve was well spent.
Sleeping late the night before, and getting out of bed early was a hugeee chore.
The cellgroup had a thanksgiving party at Aljunied, and it went fine.
It was.... entertaining. :D
There were all kinds of performances, food and drinks, as well as a mini prize-presentation.
With that, it ended at nearly 4p.m, and most of them headed home/went for countdown.

Michelle Weers, Twinkle, Justine, John, Phua and myself headed over to Holland Village.
We settled at ColdRock for some ice-cream and board games.
When the rest had to go off, Twinkle and I proceeded to BurgerKing to hang out for a little while.

We waited till seven for my sister to knock off from work.
And from there, we travelled to town to meet William.
Finally settled for dinner at IchibanSushi since there are long queues everywhere.
Then after which, we did a little shopping and had Starbucks.
Waited and waited till 11.20p.m(eyelids heavy!), we went for BedtimeStories!

When the movie ended, walked down from Cathay looking for supper.
All the restaurants were closed by then, so we had Swensens.
And guess who I saw at Swensens, of all people!
It's AARTI GUPTAAAAAAAAA.
What a coincidence, right?!
Filled our tummies, and then cabbed home at 4a.m.

I hope this year will be a much better one, and I'm pretty sure it will be. (:

Wanted to update a little initially. But when I got here, I can't remember anything.
If you think you have short-term memory, I'm a thousand times worse.
Example 1: I pay attention in class, I walk out of the classroom, I forget everything.
Example 2: I watch movies, very often I forget storyline straight after.
Example 3: At DhobyGhaut station, I always cannot remember if I've already tapped my ezlink.
Example 4: I tend to forget my own email address. "Wah, you power ah"-Alan(colleague)

So tomorrow and the day after, I'll be working.
Working there is enjoyable, especially when joking around with fellow colleagues.
Even got called 猪八戒 because Ronald said I have chubby cheeks. )':
AHAHA.

And I think I will grow to become a grumpy old woman.
Like those in fairytales that people stay one kilometre away from.
I can't stand people bugging me.
Why do I get annoyed at the slightest thing?

And yay, I finally get to stay at home today.
Went to visit Grandma at the hospital, and what an adorable Grandma I've got!

IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY!

Christmas Eve was spent at CHC.
Before that was awesome lunch with Jyings.
Service was interesting with Operation Save The World.
Candlelight!

After service, everybody(nearing 30 people) headed over to Bedok Macs for supper.
Counted down to Christmas twice! -_-
Was almost 2a.m when I got home, but Aunt didn't say a thing.
She's extraordinarily nice. (;

It's time I get started with my assignments and projects.
After all, two weeks of the term break have swift passed and I have done nothing other than going out everyday(yes, and I mean every-single-day).
Neeeeeed to make arrangements to go back to the childcare centre.
I miss the kids, especially KX!

On a lighter note, today SiewHong called while I was still sleeping!

She was with quack and Eliza.

Met them, and we trimmed our fringe for 5 bucks.

We caught Twilight, then had dinner with Eliza, followed by the movie 'Yes Man'.

Both movies were equally good.

Twilight was all sweet and lovely, and Yes Man was hilarious. :D

Oh, did I mention?

I worked at Converse for the past 3 days because they were short-handed.

And it sure was tiring.

But it's alright, because I smell moneh for shopping!

You know, I intended to re-paint my nails either green or red.

But I'm in such a lousy mood that I decided I will do it tomorrow.

It's been a week since the last update!
A happening week I should say.
So busy I couldn't remember what I did for the past week.
I saw the tagboard, and asked myself, "Wait, I went out with SiewHong/Michelle? When?"
Okay, I'll try to recall whatever I can.
But be prepared, it's going to be long and draggy.

Starting with last Saturday(13 Dec):
SiewHong, Aarti and I met up at JP.
Half and hour later, quack got to go OUTTTTTTT(yes aarti, out). :P
So SiewHong and I watched 'Bolt', then we shopped the extension mall.
Bought a pair of heels and a top!
I'm going to teach my dogs the super bark! Heheh.

If I were to upload them one by one, I think I'll take the whole day.
So, there you go!

The next day(14 Dec):
Shopped at JurongPoint again with Dad, Aunt and Uncle.
Dined-in at Dian Xiao Er chinese restaurant.
Headed home to rush my GISP essay thereafter.

On Monday(15 Dec):
Returned to school to submit assignments with Michelle.
Did some last minute touch-ups and added the references in.
After that we went over to WestMall to get children's puzzles for CDEV project.
Bused to Vivo City for shoppinggggg!
The long bus ride home alone was good. (:
I remember waiting for PS till midnight to come over and I passed him the puzzle.

Tuesday(16 Dec):

Awesome day!
It did not rain, yet the sun was not too strong.
I woke up superrrr early and met Jyings at Clementi.
Set off to meet the rest at HarbourFront!
It's Sentosa day with e472! (;
There were lots of people, I cannot possibly name all of them.
We settled at the beach, and started on the activities.
IceBreakers, Captain's Ball with bananas, Frisbee, Volleyball in the sea, soccer, sandcastles etc.
Some of them left earlier.
Jeslyn and I, with a whole bunch of guys went over to Macs after.
Then Jeslyn and I hung out at Vivo City, we caught up with each other. (:
We then parted and I headed over to meet Sis and Brandvan.
Eheheh, I got a little tanner! :D

It's week 9...

I need to really get started with my Global Issues assignment.

It's going to be a hectic week with all the projects.

Then it will be the term break!

Alright, let me recall what I did last week.

I only remember having to stay in school till 6-7p.m everyday.

Oh wait. I also skipped CreativeArts on Monday for SakaeSushi! :X

So if you're wondering why there is a lack of updates in this space,

I've been really busy, and lazy(It rhymes!).

I spend my free time watching movies online.

Speaking of it, I found myself glued to the screen most of the time ever since PS introduced me to this awesome website where you can watch movies of great quality.

I'm just done watching the first "Child's Play", or the movie commonly known as Chucky.

Aha, that scary doll who comes alive and kills people, if anyone remembers.

Chucky freaks me out so much, I don't think I want to watch the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.

(Unless there's anyone interested to watch it with me~)
